About Robere
Robere got his first job at the age of 14. He worked for a master jeweler in Beirut Lebanon, getting hands on experience and training at an early age.
By the age of 16, he was performing jewelry repairs and designing and manufacturing custom jewelry pieces. In 1980 he moved to San Diego, California and followed his dream to start his own jewelry business. He started out doing jewelry repairs for large department stores and other jewelry stores throughout the San Diego area. Just a few years later his repair shop was transformed in to a full service jewelry store, offering not only repairs but full custom design and manufacturing services along with a large selection of unique custom made jewelry pieces for sale.
In 1998, Robere’s Jewelry opened in the Del Mar Highlands Town Center and continued to grow their business from there. Since then, with the help from his family Robere’s Jewelry continues to offer the best jewelry and watch repair services in San Diego, as well as custom designing and manufacturing unique and unbeatable quality jewelry pieces.
About Jonathan
Jonathan grew up in the business. Going to work with his father at the young age of 10, watching closely and eager to learn. While growing up, Jonathan worked with his father after school, learning as much as possible. He sketched many designs, did repairs, assisted with the manufacturing, and assisting the customers with all their jewelry needs.
In 2004, Jonathan Graduated from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Since then, he has worked full time, designing and manufacturing the best quality jewelry San Diego has to offer. From a young age, he has been observant and very detailed. He closely watches over the entire manufacturing and quality control of the custom pieces and watch and jewelry repairs. The customer doesn’t get the piece until it passes Jonathans “Perfection Inspection”, as he says.
Jonathan is very knowledgeable when it comes to diamonds. He understands the purchase of a diamond is a big step, and wants the valued customer, or potential customer to be completely confident in what they are getting. He gives expert advice, as well as a Diamond crash course, so they know exactly what they are getting. Jonathan puts the needs of his clients first, making sure they are in the most relaxed and enabling environment to make all their jewelry related decisions.
